For this lettuce to reach Indiana, it must travel 2,500 miles from point of origin to consumption. Growponics Indiana state-of-the-art hydroponics Greenhouse will be located in Mount Vernon, Indiana and the facility will provide premium leafy greens and herbs for Indianans 365 days per year.

Planting our Seedlings:
Carefully selected, high-quality seeds are nurtured in our nursery and planted by hand in our unique, hydroponic, Rotating Field System to achieve the best quality, flavor, color, and texture.
Growing our Produce:
Our produce is grown in a fully automated climate-controlled environment, where the nutrients, lighting, oxygen, temperature, humidity, pH, and CO2 are all monitored and controlled.
Harvesting Quality Produce to Assure Your Safety and Health:
Growponics products do not require harmful chemical fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides or chemical washing. Our produce is free from dirt, sand, grit, outdoor airborne residues, and harmful pathogens.
Packing and Shipping:
Our produce is packaged on-site in sealed bags or clamshells to assure its safety and quality, from our growing beds to your table.

Growponics greenhouse facilities can be built anywhere, because soil quality and climate are not growing factors, as is the case of “field-grown” vegetables. This means that produce can be grown near wholesaler and retailer distribution points, or outside major metropolitan areas, to drastically reduce the carbon footprint and insure a short supply line, (i.e., 6-24 hours from greenhouse to market shelves or institutional buyers), providing the freshest, best-tasting produce, of the highest quality, nutrient and color, with a longer shelf life.
